Koffee Explains Why There is No collabo In The Gifted Album.

Koffee released his debut album this weekend and fans quickly realized there was no collabo. The time is right, and Koffee is confident that his debut album,Gifted will be well received by his fans. He made the remarks while speaking to Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1.

The 22-year-old artist also revealed that he felt grateful and happy to share his new work with the world.

The "Rapture" singer said he believed the timing of the album was the same, as he also shared that he was working on the album during the closure during the Uviko-19 tragedy in Jamaica. Now that the Covid-19 stages are being revised around the world, he hopes to travel and share his new music.

The disease gave him time to evaluate himself and his work. He said that he was forced to develop a different kind of thought process during the tragedy as he began to doubt his abilities. It is something he believed that many designers had to endure as well.

Through these ideas was a big part of the album making process, he continued.

"Honestly, I had to comfort myself with the fact that nothing is happening before the right time. I don't know what the obstacles would be if it happened sooner. I don't know what all the obstacles would be like, but one would be like not being able to visit immediately.

Koffee has had the opportunity to meet his beloved fans recently since the album's tour began in April in the United States.

Many have found that his debut album has no reputation, and this was done deliberately, he continued. Basically it was because he wanted to make sure that whoever joined him on the song matched well, and he also wanted to focus on reuniting with his own talent for this album.He went on to say that he wanted to remind himself to motivate himself and try to regain the strength of his unique talent. It was also a way to remind your fellow designers no matter how far back they went or how low they may have been. They should never forget the gift they have in them. So he also got the title of the album, which is a message for other designers to keep pushing forward no matter what.

The gift-maker covers 10 songs and is a "Toast" singer's way of trying to make music his place at home. He added that because of this album, he has a better idea of the time to come and invite other people in the right way to collaborate.

Koffee, whose real name is Mikayla Simpson, is one of the most successful young people in the genre. He first became proficient in 2017. Two years later, he signed with Columbia Records, and in 2020 made history when he won the Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album and his Rapture EP.

Koffee grew up to be the youngest person at only 19 years old and the only woman to be awarded in the Best Reggae Album category.

Gifted was released on Friday, March 25, by Sony Music UK and RCA Records.

Koffee also had a word of advice for fellow designers, "Just remember that once you have a life and you have the ability to carry out a gift, use it only to the best of your ability."
