TANZANIANS 'CRY FOR TCRA AND GOVERNMENT REGARDING NEW NET REGISTRATION LAWS

The new rules and fees for registration and levies for online activities related to blogs, websites, forums, YouTube, TV and radio have brought grief to Tanzanians and the owners of the networks who are largely low-income young people self-employed due to the difficulty of employment in the country. On behalf of Tanzanians and bloggers,

The leadership of this blog writes by saying: -
Personally we would like to contribute a little bit about the new rules for registration and payment of online content services for blogs, websites, YouTube channels and other online content services.
It is clear that our Tanzanian government with a keen eye has seen the need to do this including controlling the issuance of false information, incitement and leaking of government secrecy, breach of national peace, the provision of pornographic content and aimed at destroying cultural culture. tanzania n.k.
In Tanzania the technological revolution in online information services began in 2005-2007. The revolution enabled Tanzanians to access timely information, expand business marketing services, free online education services for students, spiritual services for religion, schoolarships information services for students studying outside and inside Tanzania, Information on tourism opportunities and existing governments in the country.
Despite the availability of non-content and online information, this service helps millions of Tanzanians access information in a timely and timely manner. * Example *: years ago when the government was releasing the results of Form Four necta it was difficult to get the results on time as it grew to take more than seven days for anyone to see the results, this was due to

* 1: The existence of a few networks * (blogs, forums and websites): - thus led to the existence of a few Information online, so it became difficult to get Information in time during that period.

2: Traffic jam: - Due to the large number of people online at once. So this revolution brought comfort to millions of Tanzanians.

It is no secret that millions of Tanzanians, government and private companies have greatly benefited from the presence of these networks as it has made Tanzania a village and advertised Tanzania abroad, so it has grown to be a tourist information center and opportunities available in the country.

 * Why the closure of networks and the existence of this law!? *

It should be noted that when President Xi Jinping of China was asked why there was a cloud blocking the network he replied "the networks have brought great difficulties in the governance of the country, security as well as our development issues" so they did so for 3 main reasons:

1: Provide opportunities for local networks

This became one of the main reasons in the country, despite the existence of strict laws, there were no tariffs and tariffs for local networks to allow competition for local products and technologies for boosting the country's income. It is true that in China there are no networks like YouTube, what's App, and facebook and instead they use networks like Baidu like google, wechat instead of what's App Meipai instead of instagram and youku As an alternative to YouTube

2: Protecting the policies and content of the country

The Chinese government felt powerless to restrict its contribution to political issues and government criticism and decided to shut down foreign networks in order to impose self regulation on internal networks.

 3: Control of unethical content.

This grew out of helping the government put up a pin for foreign sites with content that is not in line with their culture.

 REQUEST TO TCRA AND GOVERNMENT

Ladies and Gentlemen, Our leaders of TCRA and the Government, as one of the Tanzanians and bloggers who have a good will for Tanzania, please help us with the following for the benefit of the development of our nation.

1: Removal of a levy on the registration of blogs, you tube channel, website n.k.

This will support the growth of communication technology in the country and allow for the availability of stock of Statements, documents and files for the next generation. It will also help thousands of Tanzanians to become self-employed as this service is often provided by young people who are dependent on the nation and family.

2: Existence of a system capable of filtering and removing unwanted content

This will be an alternative to blocking and closing contests aimed at destroying the peace of the country as well as the culture of the country.

3: Donating to non-commercial blogs, you tube channels, forums, (online content platforms)

It is clear that there are online content created for the purpose of providing education and services in the community and others being schools, health, as well as various development organizations in the community so most of them will not be able to afford those costs as their services are free.

4: Introduction to Tanzania's telecommunications technology competition

This will help promote local technology and boost the country's income. Added here is that its database will become friendly with the policy of the country as well as our cultures.

5: Issuing recognition licenses to blogger From TRA

I request the government to give TRA permission to issue permits to all network operators in the country to conduct the entire operation under the relevant laws of this authority. In the tax payment estimate section it is clear that there is a special site
Online with the ability to estimate the income and value of any online content platform, so it will make it easier for TRA In issuing operating licenses for the service as well as levying taxes for the development of Our nation.
Conclusion: Let us conclude by saying this Swahili saying "grasshopper war is the joy of the crows" meaning that the government and the relevant institutions must be careful with the owners of these high-income networks as they will want to be given priority to control competitive growth. leaving thousands of Tanzanians unemployed as well as restricting access to Information on time. In the same way, it could lead to the influx of large foreign companies to run these services at higher costs than it did in the past with the aim of restoring compensation for the entire operation of such networks.
I hope our esteemed government under President John Pombe Magufuli will make changes to this new law by removing this charge and putting in place alternatives to help and control the growth of the communications technology industry and freedom of information.

I love you Tanzania
 GOD BLESS TANZANIA.
