Sean Paul Announces Official Release Date for New Album 'Scorcha', Song List and Album Cover

Sean Paul is preparing to warm up in the 2022 summer season with his eighth album Scorcha, which was delayed but has now been confirmed for release date May 27, 2022.

"The album is called Scorcha because I'm a baby and I'm still fresh and I keep doing my thing," the Grammy Award winner told Billboard enthusiastically.

"I keep quality, I don't do this for money only," he said. "There are times when I need to submit an album and get money from the label. [But] I do this in view of the happiness I want to feel."

The No Lie deejay has shared a full list of Scorcha songs, which includes many buzz features and songs by Only Fanz released by Ty Dolla $ ign, How We Do It with Pia Mia, Dynamite plus Sia, and Calling On Me for 2020 with Tove Lo. We will also find new combinations of the song Scorcha and Back It Up Deh for 2020 by Bend You Back.

The cover of the album features a clean and professional veteran who fulfills his rude boy signature although it is very different from his Dutty Rock days, in which Drake was recently teased for imitating Sean Paul. On the cornrow of the Toronto rapper, Paul told Billboard "I've had different words about Drake before, and now I can say this is fun. Big up Drake. ”

The Controlla singer was also featured on the cover of Paul 's Trinity album later in a fan-created meme, and his striking resemblance could not be disputed by Drake, who responded last week: "Damn this is good."

The Dancehall trailblazer has also released a video for his debut single, How We Do It featuring Pia Mia - which is his second collaboration with an American singer.
The song, which was released earlier this month (March 11), ran heavily on the media and collected 1 million streams via Spotify, as well as collecting more than 900K YouTube views on music videos.

Sean Paul’s latest album, Live N Livin, which was released last year under his label Dutty Rock Productions, has been nominated for Best Reggae Album at the upcoming Grammy Awards next month.
He previously won the award for his second album Dutty Rock. Scorcha will be released via Island Records and is available for pre-order / early storage
