The Jamaican singer is preparing to release her debut album next month, and at just 21 years old, the reggae and dancehall artist has impressed the music world with her fans. Koffee she started his journey at just 18 years old and climbed to the top quickly, becoming one of the youngest Grammy-winning artists in history.

In a new interview with Billboard, the artist said his lyrics and music have been a deliberate choice since he grew up in the Spanish City, one of the most dangerous places in Jamaica.
"There is a lot of violence going on in my country and neighboring countries," Koffee began. "I don't know if I should say it is a life-changing art, but the music [Gun Heavy] and what happens goes together."
Koffee noted that She would take his own advice and create fun music and uplift his fans.
Koffee said his life experience is the momentum of his new album Gifted, which will be released on March 25 and will follow a tour of North America in April.
She added that the tragedy also brought him the calm he needed to express himself and more talent, which included him being involved in the production, sound, and flow of Gifts, unlike Rapture.
Although his Rapture EP was a 5-song project, Koffee gives fans the gift of a 10-song album that has a more acoustic feel than his first EP "but it's still fun when it comes to bones and having that ability to hit the head."
At the same time, Koffee sees itself crossing the boundaries of reggae and various collaborations for the most sophisticated feeling of the genre."Reggae will undoubtedly make a difference, not only in terms of what it achieves [but also firsthand] ... there are a lot of experiments going on," Koffee said.
The "West Indies" artist also noted that he longs to see more recognition of the genre.
"Internationally, reggae and dancehall are all recognized as reggae," the young singer said. "For us Jamaicans, we understand that there are differences. It would be great to see more appreciation expressed in kind as different entities. "
Meanwhile, Koffee said he aims to make good music. She said his Grammy victory was a surprise, and yet, his focus is less on winning awards than on keeping good music.
Meanwhile, great things are coming to the Jamaican singer who is expected to perform at Coachella in April, and aside from his tour, he is also expected to be seen as the opening stage of Harry Styles on his Latin American tour.
The first Koffee Gifted album will arrive on March 25, 2022.
