The much-anticipated album Simma from King of Dancehall, Beenie Man , is expected to be released this year. "The album is complete, everything is complete and fans will get it this year," deejay told The Weekend Star.
According to deejay, the delay in the album is the result of several labels being heavily influenced by its distribution. "He puts a label on the fight fi di album. We're in a label battle right now, we just need to choose which label we work with and move on from there," he said.
The 47-year-old announced that his album would be released on his birthday in August last year, but was turned away for personal reasons.
Simma is proud of her features with Grammy-winning international Dancehall star Sean Paul, Warlord Bounty Killer, diamond-selling artist Shaggy, Popcaan, HoodCelebrityy, Busy Signal, Anthony Red Rose, Giggs, and Dre Island.

His last album, Unstoppable, was released in 2016 and featured the number 1 artist selling with producer Akon.In 1998, Beenie Man was nominated for a Grammy Best Reggae Album award for his album Many Moods of Moses and again a year later for The Doctor.
In 2000, he made Dancehall fans proud when he won the Grammy Award for his album Art and Life, which has been described by Apple Music as "proving its appeal" by connecting key people from the world of R&B.
Art and Life featured popular songs such as Love Me Now, featuring Wyclef Jean and her collaboration with Girls Dem Sugar and Mýa.
One of his most recent projects is involving Shenseea for his debut album Alpha on Henkel Glue.
