Spice, Shaggy, Sean Paul To Be Listed By Barack Obama's Favorite Musicians List for 2021

It is no secret that former US President Barack Obama is a fan of Jamaican music. This was further confirmed by the release of his favorite song list for 2021, which features the song Spice Go Down Deh, featuring Shaggy and Sean Paul, among 27 lists.

Obama has released his annual list on social media today. In his quotation, he noted that his taste in music reflects proficiency in his musical taste.

"I've always enjoyed listening to a variety of music, so it's no surprise that I listened a little bit to everything this year. I hope you'll find a new artist or song to add to your playlist."

For Spice, Shaggy, and Sean Paul, this will be the first time they have been featured on an annual list by the former president.
The song is Spice's most streaming song on Spotify, with approximately 18 million streams since the song was released in April.
None of the artists have responded yet, but the song is undoubtedly one of the most popular songs in the dancehall for 2021 and also one of the most streamed. On YouTube, the song received 36 million views. Among the features that the song has received so far is to be on NPR's 100 Best Songs of 2021 at number 48.
