"DJ Khaled, we're excited about this new guitar with you," a personal message from the Marley family read, as seen in a video posted on social media. "As someone who values Bob Marley's life and music, we want you to be the first to play Guild guitar. Based on Bob's songwriting at home, this song inspired songs that helped unite the world and we hope it will inspire you as well.
The We The Best star decided it would be a good idea to use the guitar and share his video playing. But as a guitar player, he played the strings with a lot of aggression, creating a very quiet song that would plug their ears even a little more musically.
As a result, DJ Khaled ended up being burned from here to Jamaica by Bob Marley fans. "How DJ DJ is really this brother is disrespectful," one fan tweeted in response to the video, with another joking, "Bob Marley rolling in his grave rn."
DJ Khaled has yet to directly respond to the Twitter joke, though he posted a video on Instagram on Thursday showing him being chased by fans around the world as a subtle reminder of his big appeal. "We are the best in the world," he quoted the 59-second clip. See more comments about DJ Khaled's guitar playing below. How is DJ Khaled real bro this is so disrespectful 💀 pic.twitter.com/fAUxAnaceG
