According to Collider, Jay will join forces with James Lassiter and Lawrence Bender on the production side. The Netflix film will be directed by Jeymes Samuel, who previously worked on the soundtrack for The Great Gatsby and JAY-Z. The film follows a man named Nat Love who discovers that the man who killed his parents is being released from prison. Throughout the film, Love seeks revenge with the help of her friends.
Three years ago, the Hardy Fell in front of the camera with Michael K. Williams, Wesley Snipes, Rosario Dawson, Erykah Badu, and Jesse Williams on the characters. This time around, Netflix will take on a completely different team.
